Our artisans in a seaside village in Nova Scotia begin each whimsical piece as a sketch which is then sculpted in clay. The sculpture is used to make a mold from which each item is cast in lead-free pewter, before being finished and polished entirely by hand.
I bought one of these for myself and one for my sister for her birthday. I also ordered the gift box. I couldn't have been more delighted. The keychain is beautiful! So shiny it looks like sterling silver. The artistry is magnificent and so is the gift packaging. I am ordering 2 more today for my other two sisters. It could even be put on a chain as a necklace.
