The De Carlini Family

The De Carlini Family
Hoping to bring a bit of cheer to post-WWII Europe, Enrico and Elisa De Carlini began handcrafting heirloom glass Christmas ornaments in their small workshop just outside of Milan, Italy, in 1947. Their whimsical designs quickly gained popularity, and thus a family tradition was born. They eventually passed the business down to their daughter Rosa, who continues the tradition with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law as they hand-blow each ornament from fiery glass heated to over 1400°F, and then individually decorate each with sparkling details and festive trims.
