Italian Ceramic Oval Turkey Platter

Unfortunately, although the platter appears beautiful, both times it arrived, it was destroyed. I paid over $200 for this platter that was a housewarming gift for my nephew for the purchase of his first home. The first time the platter arrived, the box was crushed in Parts, although there were fragile stickers plastered all over the box. I suggested a slightly larger box and more sturdier wrapping. A second platter was shipped, but this time only an envelope was used. The platter was wrapped in bubble wrap, but there were no fragile stickers on the envelop, and the platter was shattered. I have ordered other items from this company and have always been pleased. This time I am very disappointed with the lack of care they seem to have with this product. It was made in Italy, and I have no idea how it made it from that country to their warehouse.
