In their centuries-old folk art tradition, our artisans in Poland create impressive works of functional art. To craft each platter, two groups of artisans work side-by-side: those who form each piece of native clay, and those who adorn it by painting festive motifs with carved sponges and fine brushwork. The unique properties of the clay and the high temperatures at which it is fired create kitchenware that is safe for the dishwasher, freezer, oven, and microwave. The added glaze even provides each platter with natural non-stick properties. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the hearts and hands of the artisans.
