In her Florida workshop, Nichole creates each ''Cardinals Appear When Angels Are Near'' plaque entirely from American-made materials. She hand-shapes clay, hand-paints it with floral designs, and then transfers a heartwarming message onto it before hand-tying a satin red ribbon through it for hanging.
