Our artisans in a seaside village in Nova Scotia begin each whimsical piece as a sketch which is then sculpted in clay. The sculpture is used to make a mold from which each item is cast in lead-free pewter, before being finished and polished entirely by hand.
This plaque represents the cherry on top of the final disposition of the relationship between my sister & myself. We have had deep splits over family "stuff" for many years. No matter how much time we spend apart from one another, we ALWAYS find our way back. And why, for the reason singing out on your plaque, "Like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one".

Beautiful addition to display of family pictures
As an amateur genealogist, I have collected pictures of family, many of whom have passed on. This lovely piece hangs among these pictures in the hallway of our home. The wording is a beautiful expression of the connection we have with our ancestors.

A wonderful reminder every day
