Although these placemats are bit pricey IMHO (but you get what you pay for, too), they are made well and very durable for everyday use. I started with the autumn leaves placemats and liked them so much that I later ordered the Santa Claus placemats. I discovered coastal placemats from the same artisan, Carol S. - perfect for living in SW Florida. Then the flag placemats arrived for America's 250 birthday which I could not resist as a military veteran. I have not found anything this pretty, durable, easy to clean as these placemats anywhere.
