These impeccably crafted earrings are made of the finest Capodimonte porcelain, each petal painstakingly shaped, one at a time, by the artisans of Naples. Once the flower is initially shaped, it goes through its first firing for 8 to 12 hours to harden. Once cooked and cooled this ''biscuit'' or hardened object is hand-painted. A second firing, for another 8 hours, sets the colors. Once completely cooled, each biscuit is detailed and hand strung onto this piece. Each rose features tiny leaves and baby roses at its base. Approx. 1.25'' long, posts.
