As an apprentice to jewelry makers in Israel and Denmark, Avi developed a decidedly international perspective on design - and life. Throughout his career, he has used and shared his talents to help others, mentoring new artisans as well as employing people with disabilities in his workshop. An avid supporter of human rights causes, he participates in empowerment programs for Arab women in Israel, and volunteers at a refugee center for African women in Tel Aviv, bringing the same passion to helping his community as he does to jewelry design.
