Our artisans in a seaside village in Nova Scotia begin each whimsical piece as a sketch which is then sculpted in clay. The sculpture is used to make a mold from which each item is cast in lead-free pewter, before being finished and polished entirely by hand.
It was for a friend, who in reality has become family. I felt it fitted so perfectly, that when I gave it to her she loved it and felt the same, that it fitted perfectly to our friendshiip/family

Three of four were perfect
There were delays in getting my (4) dishes. When they arrived only (3) were the ones I ordered. The 4th was a different message. I waited so long to receive them I wasn’t going to try & return so my 3 girlfriends got the intended & I kept the odd one for me. The message & items are very appropriate for girlfriends I’ve had since childhood.
