Soon after acquiring a kiln to fire ceramics, California art teacher Karen learned that she could fire glass in it as well. That discovery ignited a passion for fusing colorful glass pieces into uniquely stylized sculptures of nature’s creatures, often enhanced with brilliantly reflective dichroic glass or 14k gold.
