Our artisan Katherine of New York handcrafts this necklace using onyx Czech glass and uniquely decorated and eye-catching cloisonné beads. Cloisonné is an ancient art form in which narrow bands of metal are soldered to each bead and the gaps between each band are filled with colored enamel. Each bead, containing aventurine, sodalite, red jasper, tiger's eye, snowflake obsidian, rhodonite or unakite, is then high-fired and polished with colorful and stunning results. Pairs beautifully with the coordinating bracelet and earrings. Approx. 19'' long, toggle clasp. Limited edition of 100. Â
