Lightweight and sustainable, our artisans of Vietnam craft this bowl from bamboo stems submerged in water for several months. Strips are cut, split and pressed into rings, assembled into discs, then placed over a cement mold for form. Once shaped, it is immersed in natural resin, then dried and sanded. It is then hand-painted with a bright food safe, berry lacquer. Perfect as a fruit bowl or to dress up any lunch or dinner table. Not suited for dishwasher or microwave use. Hand wash only. Approx. 6'' deep, 8.5'' dia.
