In a multi-step process, our Italian leather craftsmen start with a base of fine Florentine leather to handcraft each marbled Italian leather journal with wrap. To create the marbling effect, the leather is first dipped into a bath of colorful pigments, then hand-cut lined paper is bound inside. The bright colors swirl together to form a one-of-a-kind design, so colors and patterns may vary. Each leather journal measures approximately 8.25 inches wide by 6 inches tall.
