In her Pocono Mountains studio, JoAnn masterfully handcrafts each stoneware black cat mug on a wheel, uno alla volta, before hand-carving each spooked cat relief and adding a hand-cut handle. To finish, each mug is high fired, dipped in specially formulated glazes and fired again to attain the deep, rich colors. No two mugs are exactly alike. Each black cat mug is made from the heart and hands of the artisan. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Mug measures approx. 4.25in. tall and holds 16 oz.
