To create each safari zebra wine glass, Amedeo and his sons work diligently in their third generation workshop in Verona. Together, they transform ordinary glass pieces into luminous works of art. After applying stucco wildlife images to the glass, a layer of color and gold leaf is added by hand. Once completely dry, each is hand-polished to a gleaming luster. No two exactly alike. Each wine glass measures 8.5 inches tall and holds 20 ounces. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the delicate design. From the time his sons Valentino and Roberto were old enough to hold a paintbrush, they have worked alongside their father, becoming expert craftsmen and artisans in their own rights.
