Raffi of Los Angeles draws inspiration from oriental art as he pairs dragonflies, grasses, and bamboo shoots with bold calligraphy and splashes of ink to create the unique scene adorning each blouse. Each is an original masterpiece created through a multistep process in which intricate shapes are cut, painted, and then stamped by hand onto the fabric to create the design.
