Gia is our Valentine kitchen witch, or ''La Befana''. According to legend, La Befana will bring good luck and ward off bad spirits. Our artisan, Letizia of Florence, molds the face, arms, and legs from plaster of Paris, then sews each element of the witch's colorful wardrobe, all made of fabrics from local Florentine markets. Each adorable facial expression is hand-painted. She even creates the broom herself from wood and straw. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the hearts and hands of artisans. Approx. 13'' x 5''.
