Beginning in Naples in 1738, Capodimonte porcelain is the finest of Italian artistic pottery. With fine-grain, pure white clays brought in from Calabria, artists began creating highly realistic floral sculptures, such as this navy blue Capodimonte porcelain rose with bud. Today, almost 300 years later, each piece is still individually handcrafted to honor this artistic tradition. If you look closely, you may even see the artisan's fingerprints imprinted lightly on the sculpture. Handcrafted exclusively for Uno Alla Volta, from the hearts and hands of the artisans. Dimensions- approximately 7 inches by 2.5 inches.
