PRODUCT STORY
Perhaps the most famous of French pocketknife shapes, the Laguiole was the knife given by Napoleon to his loyal foot soldiers when they finished their tour of duty. Recognizable by its graceful blade, slightly curved handle, and often, Napoleon's bee at the spring. Today, Les Couteliers De Thiers bring fresh designs to this classic. All blades are hand-forged of Sandvik 12C27 high-carbon stainless steel. This white bone inlay Laguiole pocketknife features a handle made of a new ecofriendly composite called Paperstoneª, made from 100% recycled paper and cashew resin, known for its beauty and steel-like strength. Hand-filed guilochage and forged bee. Satin finished. 4 3/4" long with an 3 1/2" blade.
