PRODUCT STORY
African Rapoka Stone Family of Four Sculpture Found in art museums and galleries worldwide, the Shona stone sculpture of Zimbabwe is prized for its depictions of Ukama, or "Loving Families." Each of these pieces, with bodies entwined and arms joined, symbolize the universal strength and longevity of these relationships. Shona sculptors quarry and select their own stone and carve it using only hand tools. Their designs, carved from native Rapoka stone, are both very modern and inspired from vast reserves of cultural traditions. Approx. 10" tall.
