PRODUCT STORY
Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of Moscow, is revered as the most popular saint in Russia and is more commonly known around the world as Santa Claus. Each elaborately carved Russian Santa sculpture begins with carefully selected wood chosen by the artisan. The wood, traditionally from the native linden tree, is then dried for at least two years. After being carved by hand, both the front and back of the Russian Santa sculpture is exquisitely hand-painted with scenes from the holidays and folklore. Each Santa is unique, distinctive, and reflects the artisan's specific style and talent - no two are ever identical. 9" high.
