Kathy, our Texas artisan, is a late bloomer. When she found herself unemployed at age 40, she discovered her heart's passion in kiln-fired glass. Working in her studio overlooking Lake Travis in Austin, she first cuts strips of clear glass to form this wall cross. After smooth pebbles of colored glass are added to the base, the cross is fired to 1475°F. No two will be exactly alike, the colors of the pebbles will vary. 7" x 11", with wire hanger.
