Born in one of Rio's most dangerous slums, Nilson was determined to give his daughter opportunities he didn't have. He began handcrafting jewelry and handbags from leftover scraps at a local workshop. Nilson now brings his rich organic designs to the larger world, and is able to create a sustainable living for himself and his family. This natural crystal adorned leather purse is one of a kind, sculpted by hand of brass and plated with gleaming chrome.
