On Venice's famed isle of Murano,glass masters keep alive the art of lampworking. The beads for this stunning necklace are individually made over a hot flame, uno alla volta. Each of the large beads holds a rectangle of Murano glass, infused with 24k gold, for a shimmering effect. Both sides are beautifully decorated with flowers created by dripping colors of molten glass onto the flat surfaces. Hand-strung and accented with gold-plated findings. 19" long.

Beautiful and Unique!
This beautiful and unique necklace is one of my wife's favorite pieces of jewlery. Although the catalog picture is accurate, you have to see the piece with your own eyes to really appreciate the colors and workmanship.

This very pretty Murano glass nedklace offers so much intense color--especially with summer outfits. The bold, primary beads are rich in color,yet transparent enough that you can see the gold flakes infused within. Each bead is then topped with painted-on, raised yellow-orange flowers with green leaves & tiny lavender flowers that appear to bloom right out of the bead itself. My only complaint is the necklase is a little heavy to wear but it is so uniquely pretty I really don't mind.
