Our California artisan creates this whimsical clay cat brooch using a millefiori caning technique. Patterns are created by layering different strips and shapes of colorful polymer clay that are then stretched and pulled into long canes. Each cane is sliced into thin cross sections, which reveal the intricate patterns. Every millefiori clay cat brooch is handcrafted uno alla volta, no two ever quite alike.
