Inspired by the natural beauty of her North Carolina surroundings, Jennifer creates this stoneware vase on her potter's wheel, then employs a process known as sgraffito to incise the colorful details of her layered pattern. After bisque firing, she adds more stains and oxides, applies a glossy water-safe glaze to the inside of the vessel, and fires again. No two exactly alike. Approx. 8" tall.
