PRODUCT STORY
Perhaps the most famous of French pocket knife shapes, the Laguiole is recognizable by its graceful blade, slightly curved handle, and Napoleon's famed bee at the spring. Each is handcrafted according to time-honored traditions in Thiers, France's cutlery capital since the Middle Ages, with blades of Sandvik 12C27 high-carbon stainless steel. This guilochage Laguiole pocket knife, features incredible guilochage (hand-file work) down the spine and even around the underside. The guilochage continues on the two layers of brass and two stainless steel plates. This labor-intensive creation is completed with handles of ebony and snakewood. 8.5 long with 3.75" blade.
