The Endangered Species Act of 1973 was passed in order to protect plant and animal species that are at risk of becoming extinct. Daniel Lyons, our London jeweler, designs and handcrafts the first collection in our series of jewelry inspired by the all too many endangered species throughout the world. This hand-finished piece is gold-plated, accented with dazzling Swarovski crystals and decorated with jewelers enamel. Arrives in a special presentation box accompanied with a product certificate card containing detailed information on the species. Can be worn alone as a brooch or on its 22" chain with 2" extender, included. No more than 480 will be made. 2.5" h.
