Inspired by the wildlife and colorful plants near her Florida island home, Deborah creates wearable works of art, each hand painted one at a time. In a painstaking process, she stretches the silk taut on a wooden frame, brushes the scarf with paint, heat sets the fabric, rinses and dries it again.
