Colorful monarch butterflies adorn this decorative egg-shaped box, handcrafted by our artists in Mexico. Flat sheets of copper are hand-hammered, requiring thousands of blows to achieve the desired shape. The design is applied with a small hammer and chisel and details are added with oil paints and 22k gold leaf. The final piece is polished several times until the beautiful copper color stands out, then treated with varnish. Approx. 4.25" dia. x 6" high.
