Kathy, our Texas artisan, is a late bloomer. When she found herself unemployed at age 40, she discovered her heart's passion in kiln-fired glass. Working in her studio overlooking Lake Travis in Austin, she first cuts strips of clear glass to form this wall cross. After small pieces of alabaster-colored glass are added to the base, the cross is fired to 1475°F. No two will be exactly alike. 7" x 11".
