The beautiful hills of Tuscany have been famous for their ceramic traditions since about 500 B.C.E. Then, in the early part of the eighteenth century, fine porcelain techniques were introduced from Asia. Today, our Tuscan artisan, preserves her family tradition as taught to her by her grandfather, Nonno Alvimo, hand forming each Tuscan margherita vase from pure white bisque, and hand painting her vivid margherita (daisy) patterns and firing twice.
