Our Idaho artist uses 100% silk as her canvas. Stretching the silk taut on a frame, she handpaints each scarf individually with Sumi brushes and high quality French dyes to achieve the blue and green jewel tone colors. Each sumi-brushed blue silk scarf is signed by the artisan. Machine washable. Approx. 53" long x 7.5" wide. Rectangular.

size 
Beautiful colors, but scarf is so small you can only wear it hanging straight down around the back of the neck or as a coat collar. For that price it should be at least 70 inches.

silk scarf
Although the colors on this scarf are exquisite the size is not. It is only 7.5" wide and 53" long. I would have preferred it be twice as wide and perhaps another 10/12" long. Gladly would have paid the increased price. I am keeping it however to hang around the color of my all black coat. The shrug is just that, a big wide piece of material not suited to wrapping around your neck and knotting. Too bad as I would have purchased more had the size been right

Gorgeous Scarf 
This scarf is gorgeous! The colors are vibrant and alive. Would go well with purple, turquoise, black or blue clothing.
