In a small village just outside Milan, Italy, a family workshop has been creating heirloom glass ornaments since 1947. Each whimsical Milanese glass squirrel ornament is individually mouth-blown from fiery glass, heated to over 1400 degrees F, using the artisan's talent, skills and dexterity to carefully and quickly model the shape before the glass cools. As a final touch, each ornament is delicately hand-painted. Glitter and feathers are applied by hand. A treasure for generations to enjoy. Approx. 2 3/8" x 5".
