After designing his realistic yet dreamlike sewing motif, he painstakingly cuts pieces of African mahogany, cherry, sycamore,rosewood, pear, hornbeam, persimmon,walnut and poplar woods, then fits them together much like a puzzle before sanding and applying a protective finish.
