Shimmering colors of gold are swirled together in a rich marbleized pattern by Lucille, our Connecticut artist. She places drops of specialized pigments on a surface of thickened water which she combs into a dramatic pattern. She then places a treated shawl of 100% silk on the surface until the design is absorbed. Hand-sewn beads are added to this gold silk wrap for a sheer look of elegance. 22" x 72".

A Resounding Success!
This was a Christmas gift for my brother's girlfriend. She loves it; won't take it off. Moreover, my mother can't stop raving about it -- in person, by phone, and by email. I've never known her to be so enthusiastic over a gift, especially one for someone else. "Exquisite" is just one of the many superlatives she's employed to describe the "Marbelized Beaded Shawl".
