Seeing nature's magnificent wild animals in her mind's eye, Dawn works diligently to bring them to life in the form of this copper giraffe wall sculpture. In her studio in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, she hand saws sheet after sheet of heavy-gauge copper. After soldering these layers together, she soaks each piece in an acid bath and uses a blow torch to bring out the rich colors and patterns - no two ever alike.
