The eldest daughter of Venetian lampworkers, Barbara joined the family business after graduating from design school. Matching her training with tradition, she began designing jewelry featuring her family's handcrafted glass beads. While vacationing in China, she sought out local glass artisans in the Guangdong province to learn about their traditions, and in exchange, taught them Venetian lampwork techniques. A partnership was born, and today her dedicated artisans use traditional techniques to create contemporary Murano-style glasswork, uno alla volta.
